Managing Consent and Information Sharing

You have full control over what information is shared and with whom.

Understanding Your Privacy

Housing Match never shares your information without permission. You decide:

• What information providers can see
• Which documents you share
• When you revoke access
• Who can contact you

Sharing Your Profile

1. Go to Privacy Settings
2. Choose your sharing level:
   • Private: Only you see it
   • Limited: Visible only after you apply
   • Public: Visible in searches

Sharing Documents

When applying:

1. You choose which documents to share
2. The provider sees only selected documents
3. You can revoke access anytime

Revoking Access

Change your mind? Revoke anytime:

1. Go to My Documents
2. Select a document
3. Click Revoke Access
4. Provider can no longer see it

Managing Provider Contact

Control how providers reach you:

• Email contact (default)
• Phone calls (optional)
• Text messages (optional)

What's Shared?

If you share: Name, contact, support needs, interests, preferences

If you don't: Providers see only that you applied

Important

Housing Match:

• Never sells your data
• Never shares without consent
• Only shares with chosen providers
• Protects health information
